Roots and Vision

Situated in the fertile Red River Valley, Friederichs Seed Farm is a privately owned company with over 100 years of experience dedicated to serving our customers. Initially specializing in registered seed sales and conditioning, the company was focused on soybeans and wheat.

In 2008, to better serve you, we expanded by acquiring an established seed facility near Foxhome, Minnesota. This expansion led to the creation of Friederichs Seed, Inc., as you know it today. It enabled us to diversify our product lineup and upgrade our facility, allowing us to offer enhanced processing services, including the capability to handle food-grade products, all to provide you with the highest quality and value.

Original Seed Mill

This photo was taken of the original seed mill located on-site at the original seed farm and was inspiration for Friederichs Seed Inc.’s purpose. This seed mill is still in use today on the original seed farm.

The FSI Team

Will has been an essential team member at Friederichs Seed since 2014 and currently serves as the General Manager. He is dedicated to providing top-tier custom seed processing services and collaborates closely with customers to efficiently schedule their shipments, ensuring timely delivery and satisfaction. As the manager of processing and quality, Will oversees all product operations, maintaining the high standards set by the AIB-certified facility. His commitment to quality and customer service has been instrumental in Friederichs Seed’s reputation for excellence in seed and grain processing.

Joining Friederichs Seed Inc. (FSI) in 2012, Christine has become the cornerstone of FSI. Utilizing her sales and marketing acumen she has led the diversification of FSI’s range of food-grade products. Her commitment to excellence and quality service drives her passion for fostering FSI’s growth. Christine’s keen market insights and customer-centric approach have significantly contributed to the company’s success. Renowned for her collaborative leadership, she motivates her team and encourages innovation, ensuring FSI remains competitive and thriving in the marketplace.
